This project was the design of the headquarters for Elementer Industrial Design Ltd., a British firm which dealt with the import and supply of specialist d-line architectural ironmongery from Denmark.

The brief required a mix of open plan and enclosed office spaces with support spaces between. These were situated on the first floor. On the ground floor was a generous reception/showroom, meeting room and storage facilities. Instead of treating the showroom as a separate entity, the design of many of the interior building elements used products from d-line including specialist bolts and handles so that the interior formed a showcase for the product.

Materials used included washed pine floors, tempered transparent and etched glass, stainless steel, oak, marble, painted plaster and painted mild steel.

This was an Armstrong Associates Project.
